I didn’t start my career in the wedding industry. My background is in filmmaking and photography—the kind that thrives in challenging environments, from high-altitude expeditions in Peru to long months living in a camper van. Those years taught me that the most powerful stories aren’t staged; they happen when you’re simply present enough to see them.

Over ten years ago, a friend asked me to film a 50th-anniversary video, and everything shifted. I realized that weddings are a rare concentration of everything I love about cinema: raw emotion, family history, and those unscripted moments you can’t recreate with a script.

My Philosophy

I approach every wedding with two clear lenses. First, the cinematography craft—the light, the framing, and the intentionality I’ve refined over a decade. Second, a documentary sensitivity—observing rather than directing, and valuing a quiet, real moment over a forced pose.
I’m not here to turn your day into a “production.” I’m here to be your partner in crime, capturing the essence of your story so that years from now, you don’t just watch a film—you step back into a memory that feels exactly like you.
